There is no better advocate for you but yourself. They'll hold space for you no matter what. Big or small.

It was only 2 years ago my partner and I experienced our first Christmas without her brother who lost his life to an unsupported bipolar Dx. I always hold space for Andrew, though he's not physically with us anymore.

Most importantly, there are resources available that every Canadian is entitled to. Call toll free 1-833-456-4566 or text 45645 to confidentially chat with a crisis responder. It's amazing what connection can do to help.
