It's one of my favourite #mountains here. Even if it doesn't have an impressive summit. But for me, the summit is just a part of the whole experience.

It's a lovely day today and we spent some time there watching paragliders and the autumn leaf. - afterwards we drove to a café for some soup, coffee and cake.

Yes we're enjoying and relaxing today.

Last photo from last weekends hike to the #Wallberg near #tegernsee .

I so love to see dead scrambled wood covered in moss . I can't even say why - maybe due to all the vivid green.

Anyways- if you're like me, you might like the photo and almost hear the wind in the canopy above, a bird chirping nearby and you might smell the forest.

And there I was close to the summit. Finally!

I was happy to get a snack and relax my legs a bit. I wasn't alone up there but it wasn't crowded. Well it was just great to be there again.

I think it was just the second time in a decade that I was up there. Even though I can see the summit from my home 🙂

Winter has finally arrived!

We just went to town to pick up my wife's repaired mountain boots. In the shop, I saw a pair of snow shoes. Pretty nice. But 320€ - Uff I think I'll use mine for a little more or keep eyes open for some second hand ones.

Anyways. It feels a bit strange: we went to vianna in autumn and came back in winter.

Today we opted for a local mountain without snow. We just regarded it too dangerous to go somewhere where we would have faced more snow.

It was a great walk and we both enjoyed it. We both have to get used to dressing for cooler temperatures!

Nevertheless, lots of fresh air, a nice lunch at the restaurant on top... Just nice.

And I'm thinking of buying a proper bag for my bike 🤔
