The time has come and the two previously missing but now gloriously present episodes of The Daleks’ Master Plan, namely The Nightmare Begins (Episode 1) and Devil’s Planet (Episode 3), are here to be viewed and reviewed! They appeared not only on the BBC iPlayer but also in full on the US (but not Canadian, feh) Classic Doctor Who Youtube channel, and we have viewed said episodes and have thoughts. But that’s not all we also have an interview with Toby Hadoke, who hosted a screening at Riverside Studios and reflects with Steven on the screening, the episodes, and the overall wonder that is their return!

Right. This whole 'no Davros in a wheelchair' thing has really set the cat among the pigeons. Lots of very upset fans both able bodied and with a disability. I'm not sure what I think because I can see both sides of the argument. Quite a few fans in wheelchairs seem supportive but equally others are cross that RTD has taken it on himself to speak for them. I'd be fascinated to know what #TobyHadoke thinks about this, or more to the point his partner, who is a prominent campaigner.

I have really been enjoying Toby Hadoke's patreon feed, especially his recent long-form piece on Disability (both in Doctor Who and more broadly).

He is incredibly good value and provides a mountain of affable, sensible, engaging and pleasantly obscure Doctor Who content.

@cliffchapman I've been listening/watching it alongside Toby Hadoke's excellent commentary podcast for it. It's one I've realised I've hardly experienced much over the years and as much as I find Daleks a bit dull, it's got a lot to enjoy and Toby is great at, as he puts it, accentuating the positive. #Daleks #TerryNation #TobyHadoke
