The day after my last appointment at Ecoist, I make the crossing to Denmark. It starts to rain there and continues all day. I’d planned to cycle home at a relaxed pace, but after a day of rain, the idea of pedalling home in a few long stretches is starting to seem attractive. If I push myself a bit, I could be back home in seven days, and I rather like the idea.
