bread-cheese-tiiiiny layer yellow mustard-ham cheese-bread.... butter top and bottom

420F 5 min each side in oven (10m flip once). Perfectly crispy, all toasties are done at the same time... no standing around the stove, scales well (to size of your baking sheet).

Manchmal gibt es Orte, die sich auf den ersten Blick nicht wie der Wedding anfühlen. Das Café Zwei Freunde ist so ein Ort – direkt am Nordufer, am Schifffahrtskanal gelegen, in einem hellen, großzügigen Raum. Neben ausgezeichnetem Kaffee aus der KAWA-Manufaktur bekommt ihr hier auch köstlichen Kuchen sowie frisch belegte Panini und Bagels.

Ein dreieckiger Raum, beleuchtet von einer riesigen schwarzen Lampe, in dessen Mitte eine gläserne Vitrine steht: Das ist das Schnella Mozzarella, der neue Sandwich-Laden der angeschlossenen Forsberg-Bar in der Gerichtstraße. Hier findet ihr allerfeinste Toasties und guten Kaffee am frühen Nachmittag, bevor das Café schließt und abends als Bar wieder öffnet. Wir waren für euch da und haben mit dem Betreiberpaar gesprochen.
