Wer bei einer #ToDo #App einfach #Aufgaben notieren möchte, landet schnell bei Konten, Synchronisation und Cloud-Diensten. #MeineAufgaben schlägt einen komplett anderen Weg ein: Die #Indie App für #iPhone und #iPad funktioniert vollständig offline, benötigt weder Registrierung noch E-Mail-Adresse und verzichtet laut Entwickler auf Tracking und Analyse-Tools. Die Aufgaben bleiben auf dem Gerät.

Früher hätte ich MindWtr als To-do-App für GTD sofort verwendet - Open Source, lokal, Sync auf Wunsch, für alle gängigen Plattformen erhältlich. Im gemütlichen Pensionistenleben besteht da kein Bedarf mehr.

Das ist IMO ein Use-Case für normales #Todo-Management. 🤷

Nutzt langfristig flexible Lösungen, damit ihr nicht alle paar Jahre #Toolhopping betreiben müsst.

Das erspart euch auch temporäre Zwischenlösungen für so Spezialfälle wie Einkaufslisten, Read-Later, ... Ich wundere mich über all diese Spezial-Apps, die normales #PIM-Management mitabdecken kann.

Spart euch Ärger, indem ihr #lockin-Effekte meidet. Auch Obsidian ist proprietäre Software (kann jederzeit weg sein) und nutzt ein Speicherformat, das in den meisten Fällen beim sicher notwendigen Wechsel nicht ohne aufwändige manuelle Konvertierung in anderen Tools weiterverwendbar ist. Investiert nicht in ein zukünftig totes Pferd.

@Tutanota I currently use:
- @nextcloud for #file #storage
- #Posteo for e-mail
- @joplinapp, @zettlr, and #paper for #notes
- #Everdo for to-do lists (although I've suspected for a while that #GTD isn't all it's cracked up to be and am looking for a better alternative)
- @libreoffice and occasionally in-browser Nextcloud for #office software
- I avoid #AI most of the time for personal use, making an exception when I have to correspond with the #bureaucracy. Although tbh even this use of AI makes me uneasy.

Now that I see that HTML page, I think this should become the web version of the Thumbnailer plugin. It should have a filter box at the top to search for programs and display the program name, description, date, project name and tags when hovering or tapping on a thumbnail.

That would make it even more useful for myself, as a cross-project search tool.

Not a bad day considering the incoming heat wave & the attendant brain sluggishness that comes with that.

- Finished backing up/mirroring 26 of my GItHub repos to GitLab, Codeberg, and Bitbucket.
- Revived a somewhat borked 5yr old FastAPI MVP repo that I can start playing with again.
- Whipped up a big 'ol pot of pasta sauce for the rest of the week or freezing.

And don’t get me started on #ToDo apps. I’ve tried #Todoist, #Reminders and now I’m back to #Things3. I’ve bought it for #macOS and #iOS (I don’t use #iPadOS enough to warrant it), but Reminders has come a long way and it just works everywhere. With #iOS27 on the way, is it worth using stock apps?

No, `// TODO`s are not very helpful...
They encode a tasklist, but not the exact
*internal tasklist* of HOW to bring a change.
