CW: ADHD Elvanse titration
Today was weird. Second day on 50 mg and my hands felt tingly. My heart wasn’t racing, but it was definitely in my throat and I felt (physically) really anxious/excited but without feeling that way mentally, if that makes sense.
I wasn’t confident that I’d be able to drive, so tomorrow I’m dropping back to thirty because I need to do a fair amount of ferrying Gill about.I’ll try upping the dose again on Friday and Saturday, if I still get the same symptoms I’ll drop back again on Sunday and get in touch with the clinic on Monday.
All rather fraught

Day three of Elvanse titration, it feels a little like I'm settling in to it.
The funny thing with being more alert... it's much easier to spot when I'm getting distracted, which kinda makes me feel like I'm going backwards. I mean, I'm not, but I'm noticing when I get distracted halfway through something and consciously telling myself to finish what I was doing before flitting off to do something else!
Funny things are brains.

I'm very excited! My first batch of 30mg Elvanse arrived today. It's in the fridge waiting for me to start tomorrow morning. It arrived too late for me to start today.

I've got my first titration appointment for ADHD (PI) meds this morning, and I'm quite excited to be finally on the path towards getting myself some help. I've done barely anything musical in the past six weeks, I've retreated into model making / painting and Necromunda (an offshoot of Warhammer 40K) & ttrpgs.
I've only just realised that I did this during stressful points as a teenager, to help me cope with exams.

Summary: We built an open-cell #alkalinity #titration system using #opensource & low-cost components to promote measurement accessibility. It produces TA measurements with an uncertainty of 5.3 μmol/kg (fulfilling "weather-quality" goals).
