The river #runs from sunset to sunrise: it yearns toward that bright, near star. But the river is also endlessly curious, and so it weaves north, then south, in giant curves. It would never fall for the arid myth of directness; it knows the wisdom of wandering. But at some points in its journey it does flow directly east. "You got us a gig?! You got us a gig! Wohoo, BEST DAY EVER! I **knew** you'd be a great agent." Tanager gave Brian a lung-compressing hug, then turned to the rest of the band. "Let's run through our set--we have a gig to practice for!"

In the final episode for season one, 'Taking Control', is the story of Sophia, a writer and a resident of an upmarket apartment building in the inner city. Irreparably damaged from a broken relationship, she lives in fear of being hurt again, until she reaches her tipping point. This is both a story of loss and hope.
