🌿☕ #tinyflowertuesday The Ameria plant is also known as lady's cushion or thrift 🩷 During WW2 in the UK the "thruppenny bit" coin (3 old pence) was changed to show an Ameria flower to remind people to avoid waste & practise exactly that.. thrift It is a symbol of strength 💪 & resilience 💃🌿🌱

I think this one is a tiny #bee, but I have some uncertainty with bee vs wasp on some of the little guys.. is fuzziness a determining character?

The white Veronica (not clear whether longifolia or spicata?) is a sport or colour morph of the normally violet flowered plants which surround it. #Bees and other #pollinators which fill this patch when it's in flower, don't seem to mind!
