Notiz für mich selbst: TinkerCAD kann zwar kein Loft, aber im Formengenerator findet sich unter dem Stichwort "tapered" ein prima Übergang von viereckig auf rund.

Hab ich in #tinkercad gebaut. Bin überrascht, wie stabil das geworden ist und dass das Zusammenstecken so krass gut funktioniert hat.

I'm growing unashamed to just use TinkerCAD now when I need something quick and simple, which isn't more than a set of geometric shapes... which is a surprisingly amount of stuff.

Drei Stunden 3D-Druck-Fortbildung für Lehrer-Kollegys gegeben. Leider waren nur fünf da von neun angemeldeten, aber uns allen hat es Spaß gemacht und ich glaube, sie sind jetzt angefixt.

Вем привет. Я работаю преподавателем, и в последнее время проводить практические занятия стало сложнее: привычные и удобные Tinkercad и Wokwi теперь работают с перебоями и постоянно требуют «дополнительных сервисов» для доступа. Устав от этих компромиссов, я решил разработать собственный онлайн-симулятор — просто потому, что в текущих реалиях это банально удобнее для учебного процесса. Небольшой дисклеймер: проект пока сырой и находится на стадии MVP. Я активно его дорабатываю и сейчас хочу показать общую концепцию и то, как я вижу этот инструмент. Буду рад любой конструктивной критике, идеям и комментариям!

@ianp5a @LovesTha I've managed to mash-up a few designs (like attaching #gridfinity bases to existing designs) in #tinkercad but so far my experiences with #freecad have been frustrating. I suspect once there are more tutorials for the latest release that will help but for a novice like me tinkercad works really well. The advantage of adding the handles to a parametric baseplate in #openscad was I didn't have to redo for each grid layout.

Someone here mentioned that the #555timer was designed 55 years ago https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/555_timer_IC So I guess that makes 5/5 #555timerday!
#TinkerCAD .com can simulate this quite nicely - No real breadboard required.

I had a rare weekend of peace and quiet (aside from the dogs) so I spent some time playing with #FreeCAD. Sadly I wasn't able to get constraints to work so I returned to #tinkercad which allowed me to get to my first design scoped out in about 5 minutes. It has promise and the latest version certainly feels modern. However when the UI doesn't match the tutorials or documentation its quote confusing for a newbie like me. #3dprinting

I'm trying to design a #3dprint rounded piece to reinforce my headphone plastic that cracked. It's harder than I'd hoped to get this right. I was planning on designing it from a circle but the curves are not lining up.
Anyone have any tips for designing irregular shapes in #freecad or #tinkercad? -

Ist zwar noch mit Kinderfahrrad mit Stützrädern gebastelt (#tinkercad), aber ich habe endlich ein erstes Mod an einem #3ddruck Modell hingekriegt.
Mal sehen ob ich damit die SSDs in meine 3.5Zoll Caddies montieren kann.
Herausforderung war, das ich nur vertikale Verschraubungen nutzen kann. Alles im Netz war horizontal.

Diseño final del ensamble de remplazo de la rueda de mi aspiradora Eureka. Hubo que cambiar el centro y crear un anillo de sujeción. Si bien el diseño anterior es más parecido al original, el PLA no resulta ser el material más adecuado por su fragilidad. Este anillo resultó más fuerte y resistente.

La reparación de la #aspiradora #eureka requirió más ciencia y rediseño de piezas: un centro reforzado, una ceja nueva, y una rueda con un centro más fuerte. Fueron varios días de trabajo, pero me gustó mucho el resultado. El pie de rey y #tinkercad fueron clave para esta solución.

Creo que la parte más complicada de la rueda dañada de la aspiradora ya está resuelta. Faltaría reforzar un poco solamente y agregar el resto, que es más sencillo.

If you use Tinkercad like I do to create 3D designs they introduced a new feature to unhide specific objects. This is great especially when working on more complex projects.
