Diary of an AuDHD Squirrel. Day 1085 , Saturday 17/10/2026

Saturday started at around its’ usual time of 07:30.

Breakfast & chores were done then I started work on getting the new router set up.

Happily my diagnosis of a fault with the previous router help up & we are now reconnected to the world at large.

There are still a few things to setup but they can wait until tomorrow.

We had a fried chicken takeaway for tea accompanying a movie from the 90’s - ‘A time to kill’ a brilliant legal drama that both of us found riveting!

Final Thoughts.

Not a bad day at all, I do love a bit of I.T. config work.

Off to my late MiLs tomorrow to get a final read of the meters, with the promise of a roast Sunday lunch on the way back!

Diary of an AuDHD Squirrel. Day 1084 , Friday 16/10/2026

Friday started early, as Fridays tend to. At the gym at just past 07:10 for an exhausting session if truth be told.

I ordered the new router for today & thus postponed all but the lightest tasks in anticipation of its arrival. However it only turned up at just before 5pm, far to late to do anything other that take it out of its box & assemble the mains plug.

Pizza along with a couple of eps of Babylon 5 helped rescue something from the day.

Final Thoughts.

A frustrating day & the late arrival of the router now means that Saturday will be a much busier day than I originally intended! Hopefully the AI driven ‘quick setup’ on the router will surpass all my expectations & actually be just that … quick!
