After I learned of #Timbuk2 from Finnern, I'd buy anything they make. After 15 ? years, a couple zipper pulls have dried out and broken on the custom Mentor day bag. I need to get 6 for the full monte. And fix the handpull.

I love #tombihn bags. I’ve been buying them since 1998 (I think). I started with messenger bags. I’ve got the ID and the Super Ego. I’ve got a zillion backpacks and travel bags. My messenger bags are still as good as new. All his bags are unbelievable quality. But the phone pockets on the ID, my favorite, are too small. I find myself buying a #timbuk2 classic messenger. Please Tom: make new messenger bags that can hold a 16” MacBook Pro.

Came here to say the same. Somehow a strap came loose after six years, and they sent me another bag

My lining on my #Timbuk2 messenger bag started to deteriorate so I spoke to the excellent folks at Timbuk2 and it was a relatively cheap "warranty" repair. Much better than buying a new bag and throwing the old one away. Thank-you Timbuk2 I wish more companies had a repair service like you do!

Bought a 16” viewsonic portable monitor for the #SteamDeck. Tried it out just a touch yesterday while packing.

First impressions are good. It’s runs off USB-C power with a pass through, so I can plug the deck into it and charge the deck while playing. Resolution is good enough to run #SWTOR, #LotRO and #NewWorld at medium quality. It is also super thin and light and easily fits in the #Timbuk2.

We’re traveling this week, so I’ll report back with how it works.

Thinkpad(~15") sollte reinpassen, bin Fan von mehr als nur eim großen Fach und mag dieses zurollen oben nicht.

Mal was Positives: der Service für #Timbuk2-Taschen ist großartig:
- Rollkofferschiebegestängegriffapparatur ist kaputt
- es gibt ein Ersatzteil! (hmmmmm, Ersatzteil, das muss man den Jüngeren wahrscheinlich erklären: das ist ein neues Teil, um ein Produkt weiter (!) benutzen zu können und kein neues zu kaufen.)
- Service ist per Mail erreichbar und hat schnell und nett geantwortet
- das (günstige!) Ersatzteil wurde schnell zugeschickt - ohne Portokosten
- alles passt
