I watched the Thunderbird Community Office Hours earlier today. It's so nice I as a user can learn directly from the people working with the product, hear about what's going on, problems, solutions, prio's, plans and so on. And that I even can watch it on an open PeerTube platform as TILvids.

I made a tutorial on how to use a locally running #LLM (with #Ollama) in your game written using the #godotEngine #Godot. It is already live on #TilVids, and will go live on YouTube as soon as the copyright bots make sure everything is in the clear.
BTW, my last video in which I talked about chemistry, got me 5X the views on TIL Vids compared to YouTube. Go Fediverse!

Currently I only have uploaded the "Optimization in Blender" series so far. May retroactively add a few popular tutorials, but otherwise will keep it pretty minimal since I have a limited video space limit.

@ralen I do, but I don't rely on any one instance's network/front page. I tend to use my account like an aggregator. I search the wider network, and when I find some I like I follow them...it takes a while but over time you gain a decent subscription list.
#tilvids is a good place to look, #spectra.video as well .... And #makertube.net
I really can't stand YouTube anymore and don't want to feed the beast.

It's been interesting reading this #reddit thread. People are understandably upset about the prospect of #youtube showing ads during the pause screen. Lots of people threatening to leave YouTube, but at the end of the day, most won't.
There are alternatives. I've been running #tilvids for over 4 years now. We have great content creators like @thelinuxEXP sharing content. All people have to do is actually start voting with their eyeballs...

Heads-up for the #PeerTube community, it appears Google has been blocking many tools/IP ranges that try to synchronize with YouTube. At least for the creators on #tilvids this is a massive challenge, because they can no longer sync THEIR content on multiple platforms, requiring them to manually upload to both TILvids AND #youtube We appreciate our creators going the extra mile, and please remember this is why it's so important to support alternative platforms.

Thank you, my dear 4 viewers on #TILvids, for coming today to #VectorArtStream. I had a nice space casually explaining what I work with and it didn't feel as intense as it did in lieu of any viewers at all. Letting your tongue out is kinda refreshing - both mother tongue and English! 🤪
Not only did I have time for #Inkscape, there was some for #Penpot as well. These are all nice #FreeSoftware packages that work together well. There is an important distinction between graphics production and layout, and I hope I helped you figure it out.

Metastream is underway: today, we'll dive deep into creating a Viewer Character for use in my further streams. In summary, idea is very similar to #StreamAvatars - little creatures spawn and roam around on the bottom of the screen, reminding of the viewers in chat.
But I have some nuances which I wish to cover with #GodotEngine. 👾 It's smooth animations, and physics, and #Peertube #LiveChat plugin support, and partial viewer authorization... Woah! More of that in the separate stream, but right now let's concentrate on the design part in #Inkscape.
