Tide Lines - Far Side of the World
On a trip to Scotland with my mom, we took a 3-day minibus tour from Inverness to Orkney. Our driver Kev had a great playlist of Scottish music on in the bus. Instead of using my limited mobile data to try to identify this song so I could listen to more of the band later, I took a photo of the display screen.
Later, we ended up finding Kev's playlist on Spotify (eww), and it became the basis for my own "Take Me Back to Caledonia" mix on Deezer.

1045 last night. Can't be bothered staying up til midnight, let's pretend we're in Germany & celebrate at 11 then go to bed.
Opens new bottle of #Glenfarclas, stopper disintegrates leaving whisky full of cork bits.
Spends ½ hour decanting & filtering the malt & cleaning the bottle.
Meanwhile finish off a bottle of #GlenMoray so we've now got a useable stopper for the Glenfarclas.
Oh well, may as well stay up til midnight now. And #TideLines are on #BBCAlba.

@TabletopCourant I don't usually start with a song, but once a #ttrpg campaign is underway, I begin finding its characters in the music I listen to. And once I settle on a song for my PC, I'll listen to it a bunch of times before game day to get in the mindset.
Right now that's Rivers of Light by #TideLines for my salesman turned environmental "mage" in an #AlphaCentauri game we're playing using #Genesys.
