Just got another app accepted on #Tidbyt. It lets you see the flavor of the day at your local Culver's.

(Come to think of it, this is my third #Tidbyt app that tells you about frozen custard flavors. I might just be craving. 😅)

I got tired of the coffee machine turning off before I went to get my second cup, so I made a clock that alerts me if the kitchen has been empty for 50 minutes. Only took about 20 months…
Blatantly copied the #tidbyt design. I’m quite happy with how it turned out.

So back in December, I bought myself a Christmas present. However, there was an inventory delay, so it didn’t end up shipping until last week…and it finally arrived today!

I was planning to get an #LED display and #hack it from scratch, but my mom decided to pay for a #Tidbyt instead.

While searching for cool #tech stuff, I found this #IoT device called a #Tidbyt. The concept is super cool to me; the price is not. 😅

However, @adafruit sells a similar #LED display to the one it uses, which is awesome.

Once I can afford it, I'm #hacking the heck out of it.

@garrettsussman yeah but it doesn’t do video like the #Tidbyt — I have one of those, too. Have you tried giving it an animated gif? It turns them into awesome little retro video displays

Got my #tidbyt. Really love it. The pokedex app is open right now as well as the MBTA app which cycles through every few second. Huge fan. I'd buy some for friends if they were less expensive. Slowly getting on the single-use computing hype train. Has anyone else seen these or gotten one? Thoughts?
