In your deleted first rant you were railing against the 'communists' who, according to you, deprived your family of everything nice.
Quick intro apparently needed: #CCP after 1970s is 'communist' in name only. After that murderous ship sailed the regime quickly switched to a hybrid #dictatorship model inspired by no other than #nazi #germany. It's now an #ethnonationalist dictatorship.
Creating 1800s era #Hongkong strawman to justify its repression of #Hongkongers for such a regime is a curious choice, for a #Canadian.
NB. #tankies post 1980s aren't cheering for the return of lenin's 'economics'; they're cheering for any repressive despot that aims to dispose of liberal democracy. Like #fascists. If it walks like a duck...
And if Hongkongers are, in your opinion, fair game for CCP's forced homogenization program (despite the treaty they signed in 1984 promising to respect Hongkongers' autonomy and civil rights), I'm sure you're pleased to hear that #Tibetans, #Uighurs and #Mongols have also been receiving that 'final solution' treatment. Right? And #Taiwan/#Formosa soon?
