How to make two delicious drinks for you and a friend

    Step 1: Drink one:

    • Ice-cold glass or
    • 2.5 oz. vodka
    • 1.5 oz. Tía María (or other coffee liqueur)

Step 2. Now get Drink two ready:

    • 2 oz. gin
    • 4 oz. ginger beer
    • splash of lime

Step 3. Realize you put all the stuff for Drink Two in the glass that already had the stuff for Drink One.

Step 4. Tell partner what you did, offer to throw the horrordrink away

Step 5. Partner tries the mishmash. It's weirdly... good?

    ...

Basically it's vodka, gin, coffee liqueur, and ginger beer, with a squirt of lime. It was strangely yummy.

Also, some of the staff at my highschool would make their own #TiaMaria-like drink. They'd basically soak #coffeeBeans in #Jenever (and brown sugar?) for several months, and then get together some evening after school hours and sample each other's blends. I have a vague memory of getting to sample one of the assistant's brews, and liking it. I should still have the recipe somewhere, though never tried making it myself.
