There was thunder and lighting in Toronto tonight which doesn’t normally happen in February.
It took me a moment to figure out what on Earth was going on.

It was not technically a blizzard, but it was a mess for many days. Many calls for people with 4WD vehicles to transport medical people to and from hospitals.
Lightning during thundersnow is bizarre.
Interestingly, they are saying that the models today would have been a lot closer to what happened.

I was pretty sure there was more moisture than the models thought. There was thundersnow yesterday to my south. Even though I did not hear any thunder, it dumped more snow than expected.
If you get #ThunderSnow, it will be dumping on you.
