Question for #backpacking folks who organize group trips: how do you currently handle gear coordination? Spreadsheet? Group chat chaos? Just hope nobody forgets the water filter?

I'm building a tool to solve this and want to know what people actually do today before I assume my approach is right.

ein Dienst, wo ihr für Eure #fernwandern #thruhike in .de GPX Datei des Tracks hochladen werden könnt und es im Umkreis um den Track herum DHL Paketstation heraussucht aus #openstreetmap daten, supplyboxen oder #ausrüstung hinsenden lassen könnt und euch die entfernung per #openrouteservice ermittelt. Änhlich wie bei den großen Hikes in .us (#PCT und co) mit den Post Offices des #USPS

0x20 years ago today, Baxter Peak, at the completion of my northbound thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. 181 days in the woods (about 151 of those actually hiking.) The three guys in the lower left had driven up to ME the night before, to meet the three of us who clocked 2,000+ miles, so they were doubly-tired when we got there.

Bin kürzlich auf die #NST oder Nord-Süd-Trail aufmerksam geworden. Eine Wanderstrecke, die sich von Norden nach Süden durch ganz Deutschland schlängelt und sich ausdrücklich auch an Langwanderer/Thru-Hiker richtet. Wirklich cooles Projekt für das ich hier gern mal etwas unbezahlte Werbung mache. :)
