Crap, I missed my upload time. I've been working on backing up my computer so I can prep more comics and such, as is life! Let's continue the "Epic" tale of Blind's day-to-day. (Regardless, I had fun XP)

One last February #ThrowbackThrusday, this time from my old home of Santa Barbara. In 2014, Lake Cachuma was quite low and the Boy Scout camp at the bottom of the trail was still just like it was for 6th grade Outdoor Camp.
I'm so used to that island being out there that I keep looking out to marine layer and thinking, "I can finally see the island! It changes shape so much these days." Then reality reasserts itself. It's just cloud where I am now.
The whole story of this one is here: https://valhikes.blogspot.com/2014/02/tequepis-canyon.html

#ThrowbackThrusday things to do in February: backpack spots around the Smith River. In 2017, I hiked Elk Camp Ridge, bagged an old fire lookout, and chickened out about a creek crossing that actually didn't look that bad compared to what I got up to later in that year.
More info in the alt but the whole story starts with this post: https://valhikes.blogspot.com/2017/02/smith-river-cold-spring-mountain.html
When the rain stops, I might try some more of this.
