I've been playing a game on my Steamdeck called #Thronefall. It's a little indie tower defense game. Not usually my cup of tea but it's rather charming and each round is only a few minutes long so it fits into my day really well.

However once Pragmata hits in a few days I imagine that'll take up most of my free time.

I've had it sitting on my Steamdeck for well over a year...but I finally tried #ThroneFall. And yeh, it's a pretty great Tower Defence game.

#Thronefall is fun. My first game in #EarlyAccess and I am really enjoying it.

For the foreseeable future, I won't have time for a 100-hour game like #BaldursGate3, although I absolutely loved Part 1 and 2. 🚸

That's why I am glad that games like this can be played for one hour at a time. Oh, and the graphics are gorgeous.

#Thronefall ist sehr interessant und habe ich bereits eine Stunde reingeschnuppert. Mal was Kurzes für zwischendurch und mit 6 € kann man nichts falsch machen. Außerdem unterstützt man 2 deutsche Indie-Entwickler im sonst so Spieleentwickler mauen Deutschland.

I liked #GrizzlyGames previous game #Islanders. Sadly their newest title #Thronefall didn’t click with me at all! Admittedly, I’m not huge on #TowerDefense in general, but the execution here is kinda rough! The compromises it makes to be controller playable, harm the overall experience quite a bit. Commanding your troops is fiddly, and the constant back and forth between the front line and your buildings is annoying. Also, why do destroyed buildings magically rebuild after each wave? 🤔
