The 3rd round of the #OpenChampionship (aka the "British Open) was held today at #RoyalToon in Scotland & the weather was horrendous.

Yesterday's leader @ -7 was #ShaneLowry who shot +6 today to end up -1 in 9th place. #BillyHorschel, who was only 1 only a few players who shot under par in the afternoon, is now leading the tournament alone at -4.

Oddly, a total unknown from South Africa, named #ThristonLawrence (-3), who has played in only 13 PGA events w/no wins, will be playing w/Horschel in the last group in the final round tomorrow.

Interestingly, #XanderSchauffele (-3) & #JustinRose (-3) who won the #OlympicGoldMedal for Golf in 2016 & 2020 respectively will be playing in the 3rd to last group.

There are 3 other players tied at -3 & 5 more players at -2 to Even for a total of 11 players w/in 4 shots of the lead.

So, the tournament is wide open & it should be an exciting day of golf tomorrow, especially since the weather is supposed to be much better than it was today.
