Since I'm curious about all your findings: What was the weirdest thing you ever found in a thrift/second hand store?
For me it has to be the novelization of Leisure Suit Larry 7 I found as a kid (I was about 10) and as an avid point & click adventure game fan I of course bought that book. And I read the book before I played the game. Don't think I have it anymore though.

I dropped off some furniture, from our move to the mountains, to a local charity shop.

Upcycled a hand embroidered bargello pillow cover that echoes the colours in our rug. Thrifted the original (with powder blue satin ruffle) for a couple dollars, took it apart, and fashioned a border and back from curtain offcuts to make one that suits me better. People give these things away not appreciating the hours of work that went into them.

I thrifted a nice faux suede winter coat that I loved so much I totally overlooked a missing button, a torn vent, and worn buttonholes 😅 I can live with it, but after two consecutive button pops I decided to order some more robust buttons. I love how they've turned out!
