Hard not to get all sunk cost fallacy about already being in the area and going to the effort (even though I was already part way there due to a medical appointment), but then I realised from the outfit I’m actually wearing, that: my shoes cost $5 in a sale, I thrifted my sunglasses for $25, and thrifted my shorts for $7, which is already less money than if I’d paid to get into the sale immediately. (Also I got my Oroton bag secondhand for $80)
