Went up to Redmond and then Woodinville for thrifting today, and scored some things off the wishlist, not limited to: a Furla wallet, a pile of 30 Tombow brush pens (retail: $3 each), a weird little Trader Joe's tote bag, a Yeti water bottle and tumbler, Biobags(?), a sealed stack of DVD-Rs for the apocalypse, clothes for the kid, a baking tray, and a Cafe Du Monde mug.

Both the Surface Pro 4 and the MacBook Pro (9,2) I found at Value Village work perfectly.
The SP4 has flickergate though. The Mac was only briefly annoying with the usual WiFi trifles.
Both cost me little under $10 each.
I consider that pretty damn good for that low a price. To boot the MacBook has had little usage, even has most of its standard battery capacity. I'll have to upgrade the RAM soon, otherwise it's been a treat as a writing machine.

I found this notebook last week at the charity store I work at. They are pretty laid back let you take stuff, give you stuff they can't sell etc etc. Anyways I found this notebook which came in and I discovered it is a small Covid 19 diary.
The first date is March 15th 2020 and it ends on April 26th 2020. It is in cursive and I can't really read it too good.
It appears to be written by a teacher and two days in they detail how schools will soon close.

I did a shift at the charity/ thrift store I volunteer at and the guy who knows I sew and such said I could have this big ol' bag of thread.

Yesterday, I found an #antique microscope at a thrift store. It even has its original box. It is incredible. The scientist side of me is thrilled.
Science pieces made in the early 1900s are just catnip to me.

Found this custom arcade set from Brickloot (it uses and includes real LEGO bricks) sealed and unassembled at Goodwill the other day for pennies. REALLY cool little build. Haven't put on decals yet. Might wanna make my own.
