Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (Martin McDonagh, 2017)
Η Μίλντρεντ (Frances McDormand) είχε μια κόρη η οποία βιάστηκε και δολοφονήθηκε αλλά ο δράστης δε βρέθηκε ποτέ. Η ίδια πεπεισμένη ότι η αστυνομία απλά έχει πετάξει την υπόθεση στα αζήτητα αναλαμβάνει να τη φέρει ξανά στο προσκήνιο με έναν πρωτότυπο τρόπο που θα αναταράξει τη μικρή πόλη, θα θορυβήσει τον τοπικό αστυνομικό διευθυντή (Woody Harrelson) και θα πυροδοτήσει αρκετά συντηρητικά "αντανακλαστικά" από διάφορες κατευθύνσεις.
Από εκείνη τη στιγμή και ύστερα η Μίλντρεντ βρίσκεται στο στόχαστρο του τοπικού αστυνομικού τμήματος.
Αν και στο δεύτερο μισό της η ταινία ρέπει προς την αμερικανιά, κάπως το ψιλοσώζει και συνολικά είναι μια πολυ ωραία ταινία στην οποία θα βρείτε αρκετές ομοιότητες με τη δική μας επικαιρότητα.
