@Doctor_J_ hah! I am interested. This sounds like recommending “#ThreeBeanSalad” podcast to someone and then spending 3 minutes trying to lay the ground for it and just saying “look start on episode 1 otherwise it won’t make much sense”. That’s a recommendation btw.

@GrimmReality Hello. I infer that you like British comedy but I don’t know if you listen to podcasts. If you do, could I suggest Three Bean Salad? Probably worth starting from the beginning for the best understanding, but also works choosing episodes at random.

For #podcasts, I can't recommend #ThreeBeanSalad enough. I love it so much that I like to occasionally make quick videos to go with it.
They make a damned good case for Jesse Plemons as James Bond, for instance.

For #looptober, I recreated the drum loop that @supertonic composed for our song “Scapa Flow” in our short-lived musical duo Downlands Cancara. The original incarnation used a Volca Beats with the toms tuned to a high and low B♭ (which as I recall was the limit of the range in each direction).
Then I turned it into a cover of another jingle from #ThreeBeanSalad. German speakers, please forgive my atrocious pronunciation of the administrative districts of Bremen in the backing vocal.

Last weekend I saw two live shows on successive days:
- #65daysofstatic, one of my favourite bands for nearly two decades
- Three Bean Salad, a podcast where three comedians talk nonsense for an hour over Zoom#ThreeBeanSalad has a recurring feature where listeners send in their own renditions of the theme tune, so I was inspired to make a version in the style of 65daysofstatic's 2004 hit Retreat! Retreat!. I think it came out pretty OK.

Most podcasts I can get away with missing a bit here or there. But I find with #ThreeBeanSalad, which is a really fast-moving, wide-ranging, funny podcast that thrives on various tangential, improvised flights of fancy, I’m often rewinding over and over again, because I decided to read Twitter for a moment. #ADHD
