In case you haven't read it, maybe because it has only been circling in the ActivityPub-only parts of the Fediverse: Threads has published a constantly changing list of blocked Fediverse servers.
I'm actually genuinely surprised to only see two Hubzilla hubs on the list, hub.netzgemeinde.eu and hub.hubzilla.de, the two biggest ones. Curiously, unlike hub.netzgemeinde.eu, hub.hubzilla.de is not on the list for having has its pubstream off, and it does have its pubstream off.
Is it because Threads hasn't noticed the other hubs yet? Or is it because Threads ignores all instances with fewer than 1000 or 500 users in order not to clutter their blocklist too much?
I'm wondering because there may be more than one reason inherent to Hubzilla that's enough for Threads to block a hub. So in theory, all hubs should be on the list, maybe except for a few compliant private ones that can afford to have their pubstreams publicly visible. If there's a way for Hubzilla to fully comply with Threads' rules, that is.

Nachdem ich nun ne knappe Stunde hin und her überlegt habe, ob ich #threadsnet blocken soll oder nicht, bin ich zu dem Schluß gekommen, dass ich beides tun werde.
Meine Mastodon-Instanz redet nicht mehr mit Meta, hier auf Friendica habe ich noch nicht geblockt. Und das nur wegen @ellecordova . Bin halt ein Fan.

An excellent article that explains well what will happen if Meta joins the Fediverse and if the Fediverse doesn't unite against them. I used to think big tech platforms joining the fedi would be a positive thing, because it could possibly open the door to my friends and family truly discovering it. I'm probably getting the memo late, but threads.net has started trying to co-opt the #Fediverse.
It is now blocked on my instance.
I suggest you do the same. If your instance won't block it, you can also do a custom domain block.

CW: Meta/Facebook meta, naming convention rant
The name we give threads.net is yet another way Facebook is being given special consideration, in addition to its abysmal record which would disqualify ANY other instance from the moderated parts of the fedi. Why does threads.net get to be called by its brand name, which many have pointed out is a corporate overreach of mindshare, instead of its full domain name like, oh, idk, every other goddamned instance?
No instance gets to be just Mastodon, even mastodon dot-fucking social gets abbreviated to .social and mastodon.art gets to be .art at best. They don't get to be Social or Art, and threads.net doesn't get to be #Threads either.
Why not call it #ThreadsNet or #ThreadsDotNet? Maybe #InstaThreads? Do it to push back at the corporate grab at the linguistic commons. Do it to flex on Mark Zuckerberg. Do it for the poor fiber artists who can't get proper filters. C'mon.

Apparently #ThreadsNet accounts are created for all existing #Instagram accounts, hence the high number.
You can delete your Threads account only when you also delete your Instagram account.
