Just finished the fifth and last volume of "Thousand Autumns" 🌸 The series focuses on martial art adventures but the main couple is definitely interesting to follow. It isn't a straight romance but there is sugar.

The characterization of Shen Qiao & Yan Wushi gives them both distinct personalities that spark off each other. Plot & character development are intricately woven together.

The last part of the chapter is so well written, because Yan Wushi is clearly forcing his will on Shen Qiao by grabbing his chin, but from the outside the gesture looks surprisingly intimate. As such, it is both cruel and a foreshadowing of affection in the future.
