The helmet was hard - it's made of three glued together tiny things: half a wooden diamond-conical shaped bead, a piece of rubber tread from a broken #ThomasAndFriends #Thumper, & wings I made of fabric. Once all glued, I painted the finished helmet silver.

Made a Lukezilla #woodentrain using a #ThomasAndFriends "Luke" train for my almost 5yo grandson Luke, who currently loves all-things #Godzilla AND still loves Playin' Trains. I had a LOT of fun making this one, and my grandson loves the "green fire" that runs along Lukezilla's back into a poseable tail (imade of felt & wire). Success!

I prefer #TitipoTitipo over #ThomasAndFriends.
Both shows are about anthropomorphic trains🚝 but the first is, in my opinion, more suitable for young children🧒🏿👧🏼👦🏻 Characters are friendlier&plot of episodes is lighter in tone in it🚅I hope for future #Duplo/#Lego&#TitipoTitipo collaboration cause building #ChooChooTown would be so epic, not to mention having #Titipo, #Genie or #Loco as fully operational& controllable locomotives capable of driving on #Duplo railways🚂 #TvShow #Trains

What happened to Tugs? Models & Interviews! Documentary

Thomas the Tank Engine may grab the limelight, however a related series that first started in 1989 ramped up the quality in a charming show set in the 1920s called Tugs.

Sadly, Tugs only survived a single series however its legacy is one of great fondness.

A few years ago, I was lucky enough to view the real models up close in this documentary.
