    The party that cuts funds for Medicare, food stamps and is now going to take money from working parents cannot be trusted to pay at-home parents.

    While it's a good idea, this is a #GOP trap to get women out of the workforce. Any money here is temporary, but job losses won't be.

    Focusing on the vacation time totally misses the real story - the end of Congress as a co-equal branch

    Shutdowns, McConnell (and others) long absences, near constant recesses ...it's all because authoritarians don't want a functioning Congress.

    Under MAGA, Congress will convene only occasionally and only to pass budgets (and sometime not even then). No oversight, no debate of the issues.

    More power to Dear Leader.

    No one should fall for #Cornyn 's "just promise me" threat to block #Blanche 's nomination.

    He has repeatedly broken the law and Constitution. He wont respect any written promise, if he doesn't respect those.

    Cornyn will vote yes. It's yet another GOP charade to look principled.
