[07:00] Highs and lows: Students recall lockdown memories
There was laughter and squeals of delight as fourth class pupils at St Joseph's National School in Dublin's Coolock looked back this week on footage taken at their school on this day five years ago when the school closures were announced.

slowly ticking things off the list.
slowly.
with plenty of breaks, and recognition of even small accomplishments, in between.
slowly, but steadily.
today's mantra is:
keep looking forward, every day.

I'm not sure if I can face the news today. I've had to shut some tabs. Maybe there have always been horrors and people didn't see or hear of them.
Turning off the news is not enough. Each voice of peace and love matters. In my very small way, I'm off to hug my children, smile at strangers, and encourage my students to do good wherever they can.

#ThisDay in modern history.
A year ago, about a week before the full-scale invasion, the Russian Federation, together with the puppet terrorist groups LPR and DPR, launched a series of false flag operations and information and psychological fakes aimed at preparing the domestic audience for a positive perception of further aggressive actions against Ukraine.

the sunrise yesterday. Oh how the world keeps turning - sometimes I'm not quite ready for it. May today be just slow enough ... maybe to rest in a sunbeam for a while.

This day has gone on far too long.
The consolation prizes of it ending nearly at 10pm are the stars as I walked to the car, and coming home to the mountain of raspberries I got from our local shop. The neighbour works there and they needed to shift the fruit at the end of the day. I came away with 6lbs of strawberries and 3 lbs of raspberries for £4 total. Supper is a vat of raspberries tonight. ... with a cup of hot water with a splash of apple juice.
