NYC: Pro-Palestine protesters blockade Macy's parade right in frnt of Ronald McDonald Float
On ThingsTaking day 2024, for the second year in a row pro-Palestine protesters succeeded in blocking the Macy's parade, at the price of the blockaders being arrested.
Note that McDonalds is a major boycott target of the BDS (boycott/divestment/sanction) movement for Palestine.
The previous day, NYC Mayor Eric Adams beat his chest that a second blockade in a row of this parade was not going to happen. Well Eric Adams, it DID happen, and now you get to eat your words with a big side order of Humble Pie!
