#today started with a man in our neighborhood breaking down in tears because of how terribly his employer is treating him, and financial hardship he's suffering as a result.
Today ended with a lot of our neighbours donating grocery items and money to give him a huge care package with basic items as well as some nice treats for him and his son.
And I don't live in a well off neighborhood. People are awesome.
We're also going to sort out his employment situation. Enough is enough.
The gloves are officially off.

A patch of fish scales on a wooden railing, left there by a kingfisher wiping its beak.
A gap in a wooden walkway over water, bridged by a spiderweb.
A budgie trying to drink tea from a cup and being annoyed that it's hot.
A dog noticing its person smiling at me.
