Once again working my way through "The X-Files" mythology episodes plus others of specific interest. Have reached "Kill Switch", s5e11 (1997). This week's World's Most Powerful MacGuffin is stored on a CD-R with 64-bit encryption. DVD-R was developed in 1997 but not yet widely used. There are no USB ports in 1997. T3/DS3 lines are exotic technology. No doors have peep-holes.
