According to the #Guardian and its (apparently) two separate end-of-year #film charts for the UK and the USA, films are better or worse depending on geography.
For example, #TheWonder was the 8th Best Film in the UK this year, but the 7th Best Film in the USA. No word, unfortunately, on how good it was if you watched it in Germany, Senegal or via a VPN. Perhaps nobody's done that important science yet.

I loved the natural lighting, the almost pictorial look. #florencepugh is playing an amazing role, in a moving and relevant #film about #science and #faith. The start and ending is a bit weird, I'm not sure yet why they did that way, but hey... 🤷♂️

Watched #TheWonder on Netflix and liked it pretty well, but talk to me about the beginning and end—was that just pretentious and pointless? Or was the “you are watching a story about people who tell themselves stories” thing really deeper or more artful than that?

I was so stressed last night so decided to take a break and watch #TheWonder on #Netflix which stressed me out even more!!
Nevertheless, highly recommended. One that leaves you thinking about it after for sure. -

Intrigued by and enjoying #1899Netflix (#DarkNetflix is in my top 10 series) and also enjoying #ThePeripheral. Also watching the very excellent #MysteriousBenedictSociety with child 2.
