Co-written by #FeeWaybill, producer #DavidFoster and #Toto guitarist #SteveLukather, the song was inspired by Waybill's experience in a #redLightDistrict in #SanFrancisco. The music was largely written by Foster, who was also the source for the song's title. When released as a single, "She's a Beauty" became the band's biggest chart hit.

The Tubes release their anthem and their self-titled album November 24, 1975. WPOD became legendary on rock and college radio stations and the closing number for their crazy stage shows. The Completion Backward Principle

I’ve always loved The Tubes. I first heard them as a kid on an episode of WKRP IN CINCINNATI, when Dr. Johnny Fever played “Talk To Ya Later”, THIS album’s opening track, and a great song.
Because of that, this was the first Tubes album I ever heard, and it’s still my favorite. Shortly after that, I discovered “White Punks On Dope”.
They were always a super fun band for me.A few years ago, I was watching an MTV interview from 1986 with James Spader and Andrew McCarthy from the Pretty In Pink premiere, and the dude interviewing them was none other than Fee Waybill of The Tubes.
Neither of them telling Fee “Talk to you later” was a horrific missed opportunity.
