I like #JosephSargent’s 1974 #TheTakingOfPelhamOneTwoThree a lot. It has one of my favorite film sets, the MTA control room. A large room with lots of desks and people in wonderful 70s colors. There are always fantastic tracking shots through the room that divide the image into the three layers of foreground, middle ground and background. It’s also a great demonstration that Cinemascope is not just for exterior shots, but can be masterfully used in interiors. — #CineMastodon #FilmMastodon
