No, Toto... *the* #Olympus (2.9km, there are other mountains named after it) only *tries* to rise over #Thessalia like the #Klimanjaro (5.9km). The Kilimanjaro is a much more majestic sight, if not as jagged.

Both mountains share little in common, really.

The best view is not from the #Serengeti, western approach, albeit that is the best approach for a not-boring climb. Often you can WALK to the top of Kilimanjaro (Kibo is another matter), albeit it's a heckuva challenging walk.
