Je cherche un bouquin en francais pour me guider a utiliser un JDR du commerce (j'hesite encore entre Deadlands, Shadowrun, The Sprawl, Scum & Vilany, ...) en JDR Solo.

Had fun playing The Spawl last night and certainly like the way ttrpg games run using the Powered by Apocalypse system.
It gave me an idea how to run Kult: Divinity Lost which uses a similar system.

I've been looking at different #cyberpunk #TTRPG games. We played #TheSprawl and I'm flipping through #Cyberpunk2020 and #CyberpunkRed. I'm also considering #GURPS Cyberpunk. I have #Shadowrun2e but I'm not sure I want to put that in the running.

This will be the second of the new tabletop role-playing games run by other members of The Paradox Factory. In this case is a new The Sprawl a Powered by the Apocalypse tabletop role-playing game with 4 spaces on it for anyone who is interested to join the game.

Just spent a lovely evening with friends making characters for #TheSprawl, another #PBTA game. The storyteller for this game is being wonderful in giving me a little break to play instead of run. I'm already plotting my next #Masks trade/campaign.

- Mutant Year Zero in Denmark/North Germany after 80m sea level rise

Hi! I'm Steph, LGBTQ+ 23 y/o indie game writer/designer and enormous nerd. I'm only sort of new to mastodon; had a mastodon.social account for a while but didn't use it too terribly much. Very excited to be here and see all the awesome creativity that flows through the veins of this hobby!
Currently, I'm working on two longer term projects. One is a #CarvedFromBrindlewood game based on #RIFTS, and the other is a futurepunk novel I'm writing based on my #TheSprawl universe!

So #ApocalypseWorld is the original #PbtA (Powered by the Apocalypse) game that was then used as core model for games such as #Monsterhearts and #DungeonWorld ... and then DW became the core model for games such as #MonsterOfTheWeek and #TheSprawl. Just to name a few 🙂They are all significantly different though. Sharing DNA and a core of recognizable structures... but offering widely different play experiences.

interesting, so #TheSprawl proceduralizes getting the job and setting it up through legwork.Do you "play" the Legwork phase? As in, the GM sets up one or more scenes where each PC goes about their business?
Or is this just a series of choices and tests like the Get a Job phase? -
@greenWhale is the scenario structure very different from, say, #ApocalypseWorld fronts and threat map?
(I keep postponing reading #TheSprawl by asking questions to people 😅 )
