Then, in an example of life imitating art (or physics being physics) that failed probe also returned to Earth in May 2025, largely intact due to its engineering to survive descent to the surface of Venus.

I only just learned the plane crash footage made infamous on this show really happened. The real world pilot, Bruce Peterson, survived but did not require cool bionics like Steve Austin. 🦾
