I've had reruns of "The Six Million Dollar Man" running in the background the last few days. It's playing on the Universal Action channel, free on services like Pluto and Roku Channel.
I only just learned the plane crash footage made infamous on this show really happened. The real world pilot, Bruce Peterson, survived but did not require cool bionics like Steve Austin. 🦾

Watching a re-run of #TheSixMillionDollarMan and finding the storyline clunky and pedestrian.
However I’m pretty sure the 9 year old me was sitting on the edge of my seat.

Had completely forgotten about the episode where Steve Austin is in a prolonged fight with a 'Big Foot' like creature...i.e. tall guy in a gorilla suit. Love all the 'pew' sounds when he throws trees through the air. Great stuff. Good armless fun. LOL
