Also play The Sims 3 from time to time. But only in a specific way. Have all the expansions, too. But it's the only game that I paid zero.
Most historical buildings in my city are gone in the name of development. Language, culture, food, places, most are but memories.
From time to time I want to build a place that I can hide in. Not a mansion, but a simple town house, just pretend to live there alone with my plants, maybe also pets, till death.
So it's always this soloing way of playing. Built things here and there, no families, no kids except aliens or plantsims by accidents, no generations.
It feels like I skipped the majority of The Sims' gameplay.
So for the first time I created a bunch of roommates. The table is finally full. There still won't be any room for children.

#GamingOnLinux is soooo much easier now. This is one of the reasons why I think a significantly larger number of people will use #Linux in the future.

On a whim, I installed The Sims 3 and it’s pretty fun! Sadly, there are issues that will never be fixed unless I opt to play a mildly modded game (I might just deal with issues related to Private Investigator and University).
I love the dynamic world, Sims going about their days and becoming better or worse at their careers while my own Sim is living their life. I got to make sure to get close to my neighbors so them moving away won’t happen. As there is a high chance that Sims with bad traits will move in; Anson needs a shot at scoring with a hot neighborhood stud. ROFL
