I figured out who Adjudicator Shrue in #TheSiltVerses reminds me of: Rincewind from Discworld.
They've got the same 'small animal backed into a corner' energy.
Rincewind'll put half a brick in a sock, and Shrue'll tell everyone to kill their gods.

I finished the first part of the series finale of #TheSiltVerses. Sobbed my eyes out at Press Secretary Carson admitting he wanted to be a milkman, although I started getting verklempt back at the reveal that Val had been listening to Shrue's Kill Your Gods broadcast.

I worked on my Shrue comic while I listened to more of #TheSiltVerses. (I've just go the two part finale left now.) I'm not completely done with the sketching of the comic, as I still need to add details and the rest of the dialogue, but I got all the blocking done.

Within the Peninsula, a one traffic light village is losing its coal powered power station to high bidding worshippers of the Slag King.
In this small town, everyone knew everyone, so no one was willing to be the one to sacrifice a friend to the Saint Electric.
Luckily for them, and terribly unlucky for her, a stranger rolled into town.
Her name was Emily, but her boss refused to call her that. Emily was just a convenience store clerk who, after her transition, became the subject of ire of her transphobic boss, fleeing with only the clothes on her back after barely escaping being locked in a freezer by the boss with a Saint of It-Crawls-In-Ecstasy.
She had barely caught her breath when the villagers surrounded her, put a black sack over her head, and marched her out into an industrial lot.
They carved the prayer marks of the Saint Electric into her flesh, causing her to twist and contort and transform into a local power grid strong enough for the whole little village.
Everyone had their lights on, a chicken in every pot, and peace reigned.
The only problem? The transformed stranger beeped 24/7, never ceasing, never sated.
Within her circuits and wires was a red light attached to the outer case and an inner speaker. This is what played from her:
