I'm SO glad that I'm blocked from watching the Giants play (by PPV streaming walls) because they are playing SO poorly.
On paper, there's a lot of "potential" in the bats on the team but they are not performing. On the other hand, there is very little "potential" left in the arms of the pitchers (starters & bullpen both) & they are performing pretty just as their stats would suggest.
Bottomline, it's an underperforming team doing what it would be expected to do. 🤷♂️
The Giants stink so badly they're in last place in the NL West behind both the #Rockies & #Diamondbacks who, in recent memory, they've NEVER been behind before. 🤦♂️
If they continue playing this way, there really is NO hope for them & they should bring up their prospects from AAA now to try them out to see how they fair in #TheShow because, even if they fail, it won't matter but, if they succeed, the team will have other options that they never would have known about otherwise.

@sendtherunners I don't feel "bad" about the $15M the Giants paid for Verlander.
I earlier said that it didn't seem like the gamble was paying off given his relatively poor performance before being placed in IR but . . .
It was worth a shot, given how little $15M is considered in this day & age in the MLB.🤷♂️
What I like most is the opportunity to start Harrison & to bring up some hopefully new talent from Sac to test in #TheShow.

Personally, I hope they pass on Beck & Hjelle to give some of the young guns a tryout which should be short lived if Verlander is able to return after just 2 starts by Harrison (& hopefully NOT Hicks) in his place.

To figure out which tags you want to use, it can be a combination of trying to puzzle out the correct format of the tag or using other people's posts to hop between the relevant ones. For example, if you are tagging fanart for a show with spaces in it, what is more often used? Would it be #The_Show or #TheShow? Same goes for characters. Is it #Character_Name , #CharacterName or #TheShowCharacterName
What I usually do is check my first instincts of a tag and evaluate the frequency of them so I can make my own judgements of which I'd like to use for my own blog archives and visibility. From there, I'll see if the posts in that tag have adjacent posts, as other people often will do what we said in the last post. Use different hashtags for the same concept. Especially in cases of fandom work, this is an easy way to gather intel on what the community is using the most.

I've found out that MTV broadcasts The Show (with months of delays from the current airing, but let's not ask too much!), a Korean TV program where k-pop bands go perform.
It's all in VO with English subtitles.I'm thrown back to my youth when MTV would do the same with English TV programs 😂
