I've been listening to NPR/BBC/etc cover the absurd #DebtCeiling hostage-taking for weeks now and **not once** has anyone mentioned the so-called #sequester (aka #TheSequester of 2011) which was Obama's very bad compromise the last time they did this that gave the Republicans what they wanted and is **still in effect** limiting the government's ability to spend money on social programs.
Come on, #journalists. When the news isn't new, say so! Remind us! Do your job.
