Der Film ist sehr sehenswert. Eine Geschichte über das Finden und Gesunden.

Gillian Anderson + Jason Isaacs haben die beiden Menschen, wie ich sie mir beim Lesen des Buches vorgestellt habe, wirklich sehr gut getroffen.

Kurzweilige 2 Stunden, wobei ich sehr froh war, mich noch an ganz viele Passagen aus dem Buch erinnert zu haben.

Ist ein bewegender, ruhiger Film mit spektakulären Landschaftsaufnahmen 😍.

Personne n’a contesté que Raynor Winn et Moth aient entrepris un voyage physique et spirituel. Il y a une parti de vérité dans The Salt Path. Mais il y a aussi une partie de la vérité qui n’est pas dans ce livre, comme l’ont révélé nos investigations. Quelle importance cela a-t-il si l’intérieur et l’extérieur ne concordent pas ?

Pour de nombreux fans, la description faite dans The Salt Path d’une Angleterre généreuse, dont le littoral est rempli de beauté et dont les habitants ouvrent leur cœur à un couple dans le besoin, continuera de résonner même après les révélations de cet article.

Pour ces fans, le sens de l’histoire de Winn réside moins dans les détails que dans son message. Et peut-être diront-ils que les faits et les fables se mélangent souvent dans une certaine mesure dans la vie de chacun.

Mais qu’en est-il de ceux qui ont été touchés par le couple parce qu’ils étaient des gens bien qui avaient été escroqués par un ami, puis anéantis par le diagnostic de Moth ?

Pour eux, le vol présumé de Sally Walker et son omission apparemment délibérée de révéler les détails d’une grave accusation criminelle vont bien au-delà des omissions pardonnables que l’on peut trouver dans un récit. Cette fausse déclaration constituera la preuve d’une faillite morale.

Au moment de la publication, le site web de Penguin décrit toujours The Salt Path comme « d’une honnêteté sans faille » et « véridique ». Les éditeurs de livres de non-fiction qui se sont avérés contenir des inventions ont été contraints de présenter des excuses et même de rembourser leurs lecteurs.

Lorsque le récit prétendument véridique de James Frey sur sa toxicomanie, A Million Little Pieces, a été discrédité en 2006, un groupe de lecteurs a poursuivi l’éditeur Random House en justice.

J’ai contacté Penguin pour leur faire part de mes conclusions, mais ils n’ont pas répondu. J’ai également contacté l’agent littéraire de Walker, Graham Maw Christie, et Number 9 Films, qui a produit le film The Salt Path. Ils n’ont pas répondu non plus.

Perso, vu les arrangements avec la vérité concernant l’origine de leur dèche, constatant aussi que la maladie évoquée est probablement une invention, je crains de n’avoir pas vraiment confiance dans le récit du reste de l’histoire. Ils l’ont probablement fait, cette longue rando, mais que sais-je de la sincérité du récit ? Quand c’est édifiant, c’est souvent louche. Alors là…
