Just took a breath deep enough to watch the Louis #Theroux documentary in #Israel.
I guess I’m not surprised by how little empathy a person can have and still be living and breathing… but ugh. The way those settlers talk. The way they talk about their Jewishness is totally unfamiliar to me.

Yesterday, some friends and I got together to watch #TheSettlers in which #LouisTheroux visits the growing community of religious-nationalist Israelis who have settled in the occupied West Bank.
At first I wondered how #Theroux (again) gets these people to incriminate themselves in front of running cameras.
But the sick reality is that these people are so mentally broken that they are happy to call for genocide on camera.
It has to be resisted with all that we have.
