Gah! I failed at #ThereIsNoSpoon in #Factorio… I relied on 14 tier 2 assemblers for red circuits, but at the end there, they were my main bottleneck. Steel was another bottleneck.
On the other hand, I really loved how the base organically developed.
I didn’t follow any guides, but the base was heavily influenced by Splee over on YouTube.
Time to try again… question for speedrunners: do you practice on the same map often, or do you change map for every run? Thanks!

Started a new vanilla #Factorio run today, aiming to achieve #ThereIsNoSpoon. I'm very happy with progress so far in 3h: blue science is up, but I don't have enough green chips: a measly 2 copper wire assemblers and 2 green chip assemblers.
This is an easy problem to fix, so I shouldn't be too limited by that. Starter iron mine is just north of the screenshot: there just wasn't enough space to show it.

I started a new #Factorio Default (with cliffs!) run, with the intent to achieve #ThereIsNoSpoon. I tried to use Splee's "little sushi" from his recent "100% Deathworld with some extras" YouTube series.
I constantly have either too many of copper plates or iron plates. Not sure this is the best way for me to complete this run.
Those that do speedruns, do you generally practice on the same map, or practice the opening (up to let's say red circuits), or do you finish every run? Thanks!
