Last week I was totally in my feels … The grief. The humanity. The stories. The quiet ache people carry behind their eyes. As I sat with the day, the confluence of chaplaincy, death, trauma, aging, culture, and the fragile beauty of being human moved through me like a tide. I felt overwhelmed with emotion — the kind that asks to be written down before it disappears into silence.
