Usually. Bing Crosby had a hand in creating videotape so things could be shown on the west coast without him having to do a second performance. That helped a lot with production costs. So did reusing the same videotape over and over. One of the reasons so little of early Dr. Who tv shows exists.

this was kinda bordered on good. like, there were some solid moments, and Quatermass was a top notch asshole. too bad about the 500 White Guys Talk Over Each Other scenes.

quatermass was weird. very abrupt finale, the rocket ending was weird. like, okay? am i supposed to be in suspense? whatever lmao. the slug stuff could have been cooler if they would have leaned into it more.

This was kind of neat. Especially since I watched John Carpenter's The Thing for the first time yesterday.

What we have learned is that being able to punch things and absorb their essence is a sweet superpower
